Hosted Zarafa is delivered as a ready to use service, providing all functionality of Zarafa mobile, web and client access - with high reliability and excellent performance. The service includes all updates, upgrades, implementation and management at affordable costs lower than traditional closed source email or do-it-yourself solutions.
SaaSplaza's Hosted Zarafa service accepts secure connections from desk or device: all that is needed is an Internet connection and a web browser, a desktop with an email or groupware client such as Microsoft Outlook or a mobile phone or PDA. Your data in Hosted Zarafa is secured, protected by a wealth of security measures that are being verified annually through a SAS-70 audit; and your mail stream is protected with multiple virus and spam filters which are included in the service.
The Hosted Zarafa Enterprise environment
Zarafa is deliverd as a service so all components are included in the offering and delivered with full functionality as described in the Zarafa feature list. Mailboxes can be restored upon customer request. Mailboxes can be restored from 1 day at least, up to 1 month.
Integration & migration
The configuration of your Zarafa environment is done by a registered SaaSplaza Partner. Integration with other applications, such as Alfresco and SugarCRM or other local or remote applications is possible and are typically offered and performed by registered SaaSplaza Partners. Zarafa offers by default extended migration functionalities, for migration from existing E-mail and groupware environments. Migrations are also typically done by SaaSplaza Partners.
License model
SaaSplaza reports the Software license usage (customer- and user counts) to Zarafa license distributor or Zarafa branch office on a monthly basis. These parties invoice the Partner based on that License usage. SaaSplaza in addition sends monthly invoices to its Partners based on the actual usage of the hosted Zarafa service. Partner is free to determine his own end user price, including licenses which enables the Partner to add additional services, such as training, integration or support, to the invoice for the end customer.
Key in this model is the invoicing on the pay-as-you go basis with a flexible number of users. The number of users can vary over months.
