Ciao!
I'm Julia Soluzione, born and raised in the historical city Siena in Tuscany (Italy). I enjoy hard working as well as relaxing between the vineyards that surround the city. When I was young, I loved visiting Siena's pride: the Piazza del Campo, a vibrant market square in the city center. For centuries, Siena's Piazza facilitates people from all over the world to do business and exchange knowledge. With every visit my interest in the market and its merchants grew. The market square is constantly filled with the buzz of spreading news and the scent of fresh products. The energy of people doing business using a shared language was, and still is today, a true inspiration to me. Unsurprisingly, my very first job was at one of the market stalls on the Piazza. Later, my passion for business and markets helped me
decide to study economics. After graduating I started working at one of the first companies that made software available via the internet. I quickly got to know many people from all over the world and learned about the endless possibilities of online business.
The traditional function of the market square is slowly vaporizing. Today, people are contacting each other online, stay up to date and do business using the internet. With that, the market of online software is getting more mature. The new concept of Software as a Service opens a window of opportunities for me to create my own marketplace. As a Market Maker at my company I started combining my previous experiences on the Piazza, knowledge of online software and interest in innovation. As a result, I now bring together people from all over the globe on SaaSplaza.
SaaSplaza, the virtual marketplace where innovative software suppliers and implementation partners offer SaaS to customers. It is my goal to supply this community with a place to meet and help them to offer successful SaaS solutions. Together we create new opportunities. This, for me, is the ultimate position to try new things, make people enthusiastic and build bridges.
As you can see, innovation runs through my veins! And I can proudly identify myself with the motto of Bruco, the contrada where I grew up in "Come rivoluzion suona il mio nome".
