Dynamics NAV streamed RTC

Last Wednesday, during the Directions EMEA in Prague, Microsoft announced the NAV 2009 R2 for Q4 2010. Important aspect of this R2 release will be the possibility to stream the RTC client.  This announcement can be watched on YouTube.

Streaming is a new technology to deploy easily the RTC client over the internet without installing it on your desktop. This makes it very easy to offer NAV as SaaS hosted and still give the end user the rich client experience which makes NAV RTC unique in today’s market.  Because Microsoft Terminal Server is no longer needed the SaaSplaza Service Fee for the SaaS provisioning of RTC will drop from dramatically per named user.
