What exactly is DevOps?
DevOps is a combined term consisting of "development" and "operations". It is a method where the emphasis is on collaboration and communication between software developers and other IT specialists. In short, a multidisciplinary agile manner in which no skill is superior to another. Rather than passing a project on from one team to the next and calling it done, a DevOps approach is circular and allows projects to continuously be worked on and improved upon. This not only applies to people in the company itself, but also works across organizations, products and other solutions, and makes the possibilities for collaboration truly endless...
